There is a place, a pretty magical town.
Where all the fun things are going down.
It’s here in Sydney - but a bit further West
It’s not close to beaches, but we think it the best!

We took our first steps in our very first house
Got our first pet, Mum said 'NO!' To a mouse.
Our very first school is just down the street.
Our shops are close – we can travel by feet!

We’ve met many friends at our Primary School
We know we’ll be friends forever, which is cool!
Our teachers, they love us, we feel that it’s true,
By all the hard work they send us home to do.

Our town boasts some really spectacular places
That always puts a smile on our little faces.
From markets and wave pools - that’s oh, so much fun!
To Nurragingy that takes us out into the sun.

Our town is full of different cultures
And we welcome all friends, their sons and daughters.
It is mostly hot, ground sun-baked and brown
But we love our home town. We love you Blacktown!
