Walking along the Balcome Heights estate with my dog, reminds us of our fallen soldiers who have given their lives to allow us to live in the beautiful country we call home. The avenue of trees was planted in memory of the Masons of NSW who made their sacrifice in WWI. The serenity of the trees in the afternoon breeze reminds us to take time out of our busy day and enjoy a few moments of peace.
