The film "The Lucky Dunny" shows the essence of the Australian Spirit through the imagination of a young boy.
It deals with themes like "the Lucky Country", our adoration of heroes and how with a bit of Aussie ingenuity we can overcome any situation.
In "The Lucky Dunny" our hero, Danny (a young boy) is confronted by a gang of bullies. Following his father's advice Danny channels various heroes in his effort to thwart the bullies.
The film features a variety of heroes drawn from sport, music, politics, and history.
Ultimately Danny uses his intelligence and the spirit of his favourite hero to show that in Australia anyone can overcome obstacles and rise to the top with hard work, dedication, persistence and bit of luck.
