The reel Australia….
Our land our nation for what we wear, what we say, where we go, how we play.
A celebration of Australian way of life.
From this time forward under God I pledge my loyalty to Australia and its people
Whose democratic beliefs I share, whose rights and liberties I respect and whose laws I will uphold and Obey.. (Australian Citizenship Pledge)
Migrants have chosen to come to Australia and to share common sets of values and I am one of those migrant who is also a dance artist migrated to Australia and became an Australian Citizen in 2007.
Being an Australian I have embraced the values, responsibilities and its privileges that this country has to offer which I hold, respect and obey every single day.
The values that include the freedom of speech, peacefulness, equality under the law, equality of opportunity, respect for the equal worth, dignity an above all tolerance, mutual respect for those in need. These values provided me for common points for our free and democratic society.
Being an Australian and living in Australia as a nation is all about Life for sharing and indeed it is a celebration of our own Australian way of life.
In reference quoted from Sir Henry Parks (Father of Federation) “We have become one people, with one destiny.”
I have created this short film to feature “ A celebration of Australian way of life in a metaphoric way of looking for what we are, what we say, where we go, how we play.”
Music is originally composed for this reel!
