Mateship is one of the corner stones of what makes us Australian. Early settlement and its hardships lead people to rely on each other for survival. This bond of mateship developed as we developed into a nation, fought wars and struggled through depression.
This video shows the bond of mateship of a group of 50 and 60 year olds as it has been when we were a group of 15 to16 year olds.
