It was at our first family camping trip, at a friend's property down in Kangaroo Valley. We are blessed with twin boys aged 5 years and a little girl aged 3 years. The 3 days & nights at Camp Folden were a hive of activity, pitching our tent, setting up camp, collecting firewood, building camp fires, canoe rides, learning to cast a line & catch fish, watching the cows, 4 wheel driving, adventure walks and exploring the property, cooking by the camp fire, eating good food and relaxing under the stars at night with melting marshmellows over the fire and sharing stories with good friends and the kids. It was a time where we learnt to share and help each other. One of the highlights was building a big swing which hung from the highest branches. We cut a log and made the seat, it created hours of fun for the kids. The Foldens are great people and friends. After this trip, camping now runs in our our kid's viens. It was a wonderful experience that made it's mark on our little Aussie family.
