It may not be the complete and monumental fun park it once was in its heyday, but even a remnant of its image evokes nostalgia in most long time Sydney-siders. A place of much joy over the decades but also a place with a dark and ironic tragedy fixed forever in its history; nevertheless it remains a great Sydney icon.
